Basketball Shoot-Out

This game was played by fourth -sixth grade at Reynolds. We had one team on each side of the gym and 2 basketballs in the middle.

Each student had a number that matched someone on the opposite team.  When their number was called, it was a mad dash for both students to grab their ball and run/dribble down and make a basket then come back and place ball in the deck ring. Sometimes a player made the basket first but got their ball back first to the deck ring! Eventually, I called 2 numbers at once and there were 4 balls and 4 students trying to make a basket. The best part of each class was the encouragement and support from the other students as students tried to make their basket! It was a great feeling to witness the kindness of Reynolds’ students. (and, of course, Taylor Ridge students)

Rock, Paper, Scissors Challenge

Taylor Ridge PE had a fun Friday with this game. Each student received 3 popsicle sticks. They challenge someone and whoever wins gets a stick from the other student. If they run out of sticks they go to the banker and challenge the banker to win one stick at a time. Today we had Halloween Music that rocked!
