RTI is a teaching program that focuses on individual student needs in reading and writing. Students are put in flexible small groups to work on specific reading and writing skills.

This school year will be my second year teaching 4th grade at Reynolds Elementary School. Previously, I taught for 7 years as a 7th grade science teacher at West Liberty Middle School.

I have always lived in the Rockridge School District and am excited to be teaching here. I started my school career at Andalusia Elementary, transferred to Illinois City Elementary, and graduated from RHS in 1994. I received my Associate in Arts degree from Blackhawk College and my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Western Illinois University.

I live in Edgington with my husband, four year old daughter, and two cats.
