There will be a special meeting of the Rockridge CUSD #300 Board of Education on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. The purpose of the meeting is to present information about the financial condition of the Rockridge School District. Information will also be shared regarding potential reductions for the 2010 - 2011 Budget.

The monthly meeting of the Rockridge CUSD #300 Board of Education will take place Monday, December 14, 2009 with the Truth in Taxation Hearing beginning at 6:00 p.m. and the regular meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. Items for discussion and potential action include; public comment regarding Rockridge programs, portable classrooms, bus bids, report on Jr. High ISAT Scores, 2010 - 2011 Course Description Book, Academic changes to the student handbook, Dual Credit, Job Descriptions, Finance Committee report, ITBS Costs, Grade Level Attendance Centers and the 2009 levy. H1N1 Vaccination Clinic

A vaccination clinic will be held at Rockridge High School on
November 18, 2009 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The vaccine is available to:
1. Persons ages 6 months through 24 years of age. (All School Age Students)
2. Pregnant women
3. Caregivers of infants under 6 months of age
4. Health care and emergency service personnel
5. People aged 25 - 64 who are at higher risk due to chronic health disorders or compromised immune systems

An informaional meeting about “Dual Credit” classes at Rockridge High School in partnership with Black Hawk College will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. The meeing will take place in the High School Chorus Room.

Rockridge Board of Education Meeting October 19, 2009

The monthly meeting of the Rockridge CUSD #300 Board of Education will take place Monday, October 19, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. Items for discussion and potential action include; presentation from the DLR Group regarding facility planning, Spring High School testing plan, Dual Credit update, eligibility update, cost controls, Health/Life Safety amendment for Reynolds Elementary, FFA request to attend the National Convention and recommendations for aide, and snow removal. Parent Access to Student Grades Coming Soon!

While parent access to student grades at Rockridge Jr/Sr High School is nothing new, with the change over in student management systems it has taken some time to get this portion of the student management system functional. The GOOD NEWS is that parents of students at the Jr/Sr High School can expect to receive a notice early in the week of September 21st about access to this important component! The notice will provide you with the necessary information as well as instructions on the use of the new parent portal access.
Rockridge Facility Tours Begin Saturday August 22, 2009

Following a good discussion of the current status of the District facilities, on Tuesday, August 18th, a tour of each of the District buildings is scheduled to begin Saturday, August 22 at Taylor Ridge Elementary at 9:00 a.m. The schedule for this first round of tours is listed below. A tour of the Junior/Senior High School facilities will be scheduled at a later date.

A meeting to discuss facilities will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. This Superintendent’s committee will meet to discuss the current status of the District facilities and to welcome comments/discussion about the future direction the community would like to see the District explore in the area of expansion and renovation.
