I am in my fourth year of teaching out here at Rockridge and am loving it! This year at Rockridge I am teaching 6th and 7th grade band. I have been playing the bassoon for 16 years and graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelors degree in Music Education in December 2006. During school I was also involved with drumline, choir, steel band, wind ensemble and orchestra.

I got married to my husband Brian on June 9, 2007 and am the proud mother to our turtle, Tortuga. Family and friends have always been important to me so it’s nice to live so close to many of them.   I have two beautiful nieces, Isabela Naomi and Lillian Avery, and now have a handsome nephew, Wyatt Ramon!

I’m looking forward to a great year and can’t wait to get to know my students and their parents!
