Raised in Redondo Beach, California. Surfed mornings before High School. |

Educated California Lutheran College, California State University at Dominguez Hills, and Western Illinois University. |

B.S. in Psychology, 1972; B.A. in Education, 1973; M.A. in Education with emphasis in language arts, 2003. |

Taught in the L.A. school system, then moved to Colorado. |

Taught cross-country skiing and just had fun for one year. |

Married David and moved to his home town in Illinois. We have two children, Austin and Andrea. Andrea gave me the two best grandsons. They do and will go to a Rockridge school. |

I’ve worked in the Rockridge District for more than twenty-five years as an aide and teacher. |

As a child, I taught my dolls. I come from a long line of teachers and find to this day it is still exciting to teach, share, and learn. |
